Kid Cudi pulled a Beyoncé last night, releasing his new album Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon on iTunes as a total surprise. "Time to make the world stand still," he tweeted.

"Copernicus Landing," it turns out, is one of the ten tracks on the album, which follows up Cudi's 2013 LP, Indicud. Cudi hinted at a possible physical release for Satellite Flight as well, pointing out that the album's release date was originally listed on iTunes as April 29th, adding with a wink, "but that's a glitch. Or is it."

Along with the new album, Cudi hasn't slowed down on acting either: Deadline recently reported that he'd scored a role in the upcoming Entourage movie, filling the mighty big shoes of Lloyd as talent agent Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) new assistant. Cudi has previously appeared in a handful of TV shows, including a recurring role HBO's How to Make it in America and a recent guest spot on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. While the Entourage movie is currently filming, Cudi will make his big-screen debut on March 14th when he appears opposite Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul in Need For Speed.
